Scar Phase M (=Mature scar) is intended for scars in the maturation or remodelling phase and should ideally be used after Scar Phase I. Scar Phase M actively promotes correct collagen deposition to reduce scarring, as well as the remodelling of the skin matrix to reduce the appearance of existing scars.

Surface renewal of mature scars is addressed with keratolytic agents and probiotics to improve epithelialisation and barrier function. Hair follicles are regenerated to mimic their original state, and pigmentation is reduced through various mechanisms, particularly by controlling inflammation.

Tested active ingredients: 

  • Tripeptide-10-Citrulline: promotes the correct organisation of collagen fibres. 
  • N-acetylglucosamine-6-phosphate and caffeoylglucoside: Promotes the remodelling of skin lesions by activating skin repair mechanisms. 
  • Carnitine + Coenzyme Q10: for accelerated regeneration. 
  • 1.5% salicylic acid: keratolytic and anti-inflammatory properties. 
  • Lactococcus Ferment Lysate: Improves the quality and speed of epidermal growth, thereby enhancing the barrier function and promoting normal epithelialisation. (see before/after image example) 
  • Tetrapeptide-30 (PKEK): Minimises the inflammatory response characteristic of scar tissue formation. Simultaneously regulates pigmentation. 
  • Hexapeptide-8 and Pentapeptide-18: Proven efficacy in moisturising the skin and improving firmness.
  • Extract of Trifolium pratense (red clover) and acetyl tetrapeptide-3: This combination active ingredient stimulates the regeneration and growth of hair follicles, which are absent in most scar tissue. Very important for scars in the eyebrow and scalp areas.
  • Copper tripeptide: promotes the synthesis of ECM proteins and repair genes.
  • Encapsulated NAD fragments: for intracellular tissue regeneration.

1 to 4-layer medium peel This lactic and glycolic acid peel is suitable for all skin types. Can be applied in 1 to 4 layers. First session: 1–2 layers; advanced sessions: 3–4 layers.
