Even genetically determined hair loss can be minimised. Furthermore, natural hair looks more vibrant than no hair or white hair. Hardly any man is truly happy with a receding hairline or a monk’s bald patch. Especially not if this becomes noticeable as early as 30. Women, too, often experience hormone- or age-related hair loss. Circular hair loss often subsides naturally, without additional intervention again. However, the quality of the follicles always suffers. Many metabolic disorders cause an acute vitamin E deficiency in the skin, which leads to disturbances in the follicles. A classic example of this is diabetes.
The important thing here is, firstly, to know the cause and, secondly, to support the hair during this phase. A side effect of hair loss prevention is fewer grey hairs.
Our 3 tips for combating premature hair loss:
- Don’t wear a cap all the time ! Poor circulation and heavy sweating promote follicle inflammation.
- Do not wash with SHAMPOO every day. Usually, water and friction are sufficient. When drying, pat with a towel, DO NOT RUB ! Only blow-dry on a cool setting, NEVER on a hot setting or too close (not even a professional).
- Gently massage your scalp with a tincture. Suitable are alcohol-free, cloudy beers (really!) as well as pure olive oil
Healthy follicles last longer!
During the normal function of a follicle, your hair goes through three phases: the growth phase, the transitional phase and the resting phase. Outside the scalp, the hair is completely passive, i.e., you can only care for the existing hair in terms of suppleness, e.g. with oil treatments or mild shampoos without colourants and perfume substances.
The root of the hair loss problem lies beneath the surface in the follicle. This should be well nourished and ventilated. Inflammation of the follicle leads in many cases to a premature cessation of the growth function. Incidentally, cutting hair does NOT help with better growth, at most the scalp can be cared for more directly, but it is also more unprotected.
Those with voluntary baldness and shaved heads: MUST massage sun cream into the scalp! This prevents other problems early on.
