Gel cleanser are slightly more thorough than milk or cream cleansers. They are a good solution when face masks or everyday dirt need to be removed. Gel cleansers are always lathered up with water.
People with sensitive skin are better off using cream cleansers.
Our tip: As these modern cleansers contain highly effective active ingredients, they work even more effectively if you leave the cleanser on the skin for about 10 seconds or massage it in before rinsing it off. As a general rule: gel cleansers are slightly more thorough, cream cleansers gentler and even more nourishing. So variety is certainly not a bad thing.
Please never use:
- Ice-cold water (too cold, like too hot, is bad for skin cells and leads to vascular damage)
- Compresses that are too hot (over 52°C)

Bisabolol: Soothes the skin and reduces redness and irritation. How to use this toner: Preparation: Cleanse the skin first to remove make-up, dirt and excess oil. Application: Apply the toner to a cotton pad and gently sweep it over your face, avoiding the eye area. Frequency: Start by using it every other day to see how your skin reacts, and adjust the frequency accordingly. Some skin types can tolerate daily use, whilst others may only need to be used a few times a week.
