ScarFX Silicone Scar Bandage

CongratulationsYou have chosen ein the leading product for scar treatment. The following information will help you in dealing with ScarFX silicone  scar patches to  guide you on the way to a more inconspicuous, soft and smooth scar.

• Indications
  • Hypertrophs, these are thickened or severely reddened scars: scars become softer, the cosmetic appearance is improved.
  • Keloids,  scars growing beyond their original size.  Vimproves the texture, reduces redness and grandeur of the scar.
  • Surgical scars: scars become softer, redness and itching disappear faster, enlargement and elevation of the scar is counteracted.

• Preparation
  • You can start treatment after complete wound closure and after removing the stitches.
  • Do not apply to open wounds so that they obstruct the wound water drainage.
  • The selected size ScarFX silicone scar plaster should exceed the scar on all sides by at least 1 cm. ScarFX silicone scar plasters may also be cut  to the appropriatesize.
  •  Carefully wash and dry the scar and ScarFX silicone scar plaster.

• Application
  • Remove the protective films on both sides of the ScarFX silicone scar patch.
  • Wash and dry ScarFX silicone scar plaster thoroughly  with a non-moisturizing soap(e.g. dishwashing liquid).
  • Place the adhesive side of ScarFX silicone scar patch on the skin and, if necessary, fix with a silk or paper roll plaster.  You can also order these from us.
  • Wear ScarFX silicone scar patches for a maximum of 6 hours, then extend 1 hour each day. After the acclimatization phase, the ScarFX silicone scar plaster should be worn at least 10 hours a day. See also recommendations for best results.

• Hygiene
  • ScarFX silicone scar plaster should be thoroughly washed daily with a non-moisturizing  or  dishwashing detergent and dried.
  • The scar area should also be thoroughly washed and dried daily.
  • Do not use cream and other skin care products or topical medicines under ScarFX silicone scar patch .
  • If ScarFX silicone scar patches are not worn 24 hours a day, it should be stored washed and dried in a clean, dust-free place.
  • If the hygienic instructionsare not observed, skin irritation can occur due to germ growth under ScarFX silicone scar patches.

• Duration of application
  • ScarFX silicone scar patch should be applied until the scar has become soft, pale and flatter. First results  can be seen after just a few days. The final result may take several months of treatment time.

• Recommendations for best results
  • Best and fastest results can be achieved by wearing "around the clock".
  • We recommend the use of two pieces of ScarFX silicone scar plaster, each worn alternately and stored after thorough washing.
  • If ScarFX silicone scar plaster is not worn around the clock, the treatment can be supplemented by the application of ScarFX silicone scar gel .

• Attention
  • Donot use the product in case of known intolerance to the ingredient (high-purity silicone).
  • If redness or a rash occurs under ScarFX silicone scar patches , the treatment should be interrupted for 24 hours. Do not continue treatment until the redness and rash have completely disappeared.
