Product information "Scar Fx Silicone Sheeting Breast (Brustnarben) Complete Anchor ein Stück"
PLEASE NOTE: one piece only.
These silicone plasters are specially designed for treating scars on the chest. The plasters are transparent, self-adhesive and made from 100% medical-grade silicone. With proper care and adherence to hygiene guidelines, a strip can be used for many weeks.
The ScarFX silicone scar patch is effective on older, raised and hardened (hypertrophic) scars, on keloids (scars that grow beyond the original site) and on fresh, severely reddened scars following burns, as well as following accidental injuries and surgical procedures such as caesarean sections and cosmetic surgery.
Only silicone of the highest purity is used and processed under cleanroom conditions.
ScarFX silicone scar patches are self-adhesive. Adhesion to the skin is important to ensure the necessary complete airtight seal. A bra or corset helps to keep the silicone scar patch in place.
Method recommended by dermatologists and plastic surgeons worldwide.
Application: wear for a maximum of 8–12 hours daily
Cut ScarFX to size with scissors, ensuring it extends at least one centimetre beyond the scar area on all sides. Peel off the protective films on both sides. Before your first application, wash ScarFX thoroughly with non-greasy soap (e.g. washing-up liquid) and warm water.
In addition, the skin area and the scar plaster should be washed thoroughly twice a day.
Maintaining proper hygiene of the skin and the silicone patch is important to prevent skin irritation, occasional spots, and redness caused by bacterial growth.
A gradual treatment regimen is recommended, i.e. the patch should be worn for a maximum of six hours on the first day, and the wearing time can be increased by two hours each day. If you do not wish to wear a patch during the day, you can wear Scar FX at night and use a scar cream during the day.
Further enhance the appearance of your scars with a scar treatment product. For example, SCAR I from DELTA to improve the texture and pigmentation of the scars. We would be happy to advise you.
