TRADITIONAL MANUFACTURING:
Kettle saponification is the traditional method used to make Marseille soaps. That is why we use this authentic process to produce our liquid soaps. Our fat base consists of 80% olive oil and 20% copra oil, which we place in a large cauldron. With potash (a natural clay), this mixture slowly transforms into a soap paste under the supervision of our master soap maker.
Avoid in the fridge. Not heat-sensitive.
Effects and properties of olive extracts:
Products containing olive oil reduce fine expression lines and provide the skin with sufficient moisture. Like no other oil, olive oil closely resembles the natural fats of the stratum corneum. It penetrates the skin very effectively and locks in moisture. The high pantothenic acid content is also said to have a soothing effect. Olive oil also demonstrates its benefits at night. When the skin is working at full capacity, extracts from olive leaves promote collagen synthesis and cellular metabolism. This can result in improved skin elasticity, making the skin more resilient and robust.
