A healthy diet is the foundation of a healthy life. It promotes performance and well-being and provides the body with what it needs. Furthermore, many illnesses can be prevented with the right diet. As everyone eats differently and every body has different nutritional requirements there is no universal recommendation for a healthy diet.

Dietary supplements are, as the name suggests, merely add-ons to the diet and never a replacement for a healthy diet. The body draws the nutrients it needs from food. The skin and hair are the very last to be supplied. The vital organs are supplied first. Vitamins and proteins are the most important building blocks of a healthy diet.

We offer the following dietary supplements:

  • Vitamin tablets, in our range: vitamins A, B, C, D and E. Contained in Vitamin A&D, Multivitamin and Complete Antioxidant
  • Glucosamine, omega and colostrum to strengthen the immune system

We ensure that all food supplements comply with the recommendations of the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health.

All products are manufactured under pharmaceutical standards and are tested for harmful substances.

Good to know:

  • During pregnancy and while breastfeeding, you should completely avoid vitamin A as a dietary supplement. Normal vitamin A intake through food is sufficient in this case. However, omega 3 from fish and krill is strongly recommended (200mg DPA daily)
  • Dark skin absorbs less vitamin D in Switzerland during winter (=October to April), as the sun’s rays are filtered more heavily at a shallow angle and reach the earth to a lesser extent. Dark skin produces only reduced amounts of vitamin D, which is important for the immune system, during these months. Vitamin A&D tablets therefore make sense.
  • Plant-based omega supplements are always less potent than organic ones. Moreover, they almost always fall below the required DHA EPA threshold. We therefore only offer Krill Omega. The Federal Office of Public Health expressly recommends 200mg per day for pregnant women.
