The popular RAD SPF15 with mineral filters. With several physical and chemical filters, RAD 15 is immediately 94.5% effective against UVA and UVB rays. RAD SHIELD Mineral Sunscreen for customers who prefer a product with a matte, moisturising and creamy texture. May also be used on children from 6 months of age. No risk of allergies! The product is fragrance-free; the smell of vitamin A dissipates after a few minutes. Safe for use on eyelids and around the eyes.
Key active ingredients and filters:
- Titanium dioxide: is an inert mineral used as an ingredient in sunscreens within cosmetics. It works by reflecting UVA and UVB rays. Titanium dioxide is usually micronised (not nano) and coated for use in cosmetic products. Micronised titanium dioxide is photostable and offers better sun protection than non-micronised titanium dioxide.
- Zinc oxide: Minerals such as zinc oxide are frequently used as inorganic physical sunscreens. The white appearance of zinc is eliminated without reducing the UV-blocking effect through the use of zinc nanoparticles. Zinc oxide is anti-inflammatory and has excellent water-resistant properties. It makes the UV protection more water-resistant.
- Thermus Thermophillus Ferment:A substance with antioxidant properties - reduces the negative effects of free radicals. Infrared radiation (IR) accounts for over 50% of solar radiation, generates a rise in temperature, penetrates deep into the skin and has an adverse effect on skin physiology. Venuceane ™ combats IR damage, prevents IR-induced stress, reduces inflammation, improves hydration and maintains skin structure to reduce wrinkles. In response to an increase in heat, it provides appropriate detoxification effects and counteracts the ROS production generated by IR.
- Butyrospermum Parksi (Shea) Butter: This plant-based lipid, extracted from the shea tree, is used as an emollient in cosmetics and has smoothing properties for dry skin. Shea butter is not only rich in texture; it is also a rich source of antioxidants.
